Services not covered by AHS plan
Alberta health plan covers many essential services. However, it is important to understand that not all services are covered by the Alberta Health and Wellness plan. Many services that are not covered by AHS plan are provided in our clinic, however it is the responsibility of the patient to pay for those services when utilized. Uninsured services provided in our clinic include and are not limited to the following services listed below:
- Medical Exams with a valid Alberta health care card.
- Office visits without a valid Alberta health care card.
- Driver’s Medical under the age of 74
- Attending Physician’s Statement.
- Medical-Legal report completion.
